Question: Is HCG FDA approved?

Answer: HCG is approved for various conditions such as infertility and growth disturbances in young boys. It is not FDA approved for weight loss. There is much evidence produced by Dr. Simeons, Trudeau, Dr. True that shows it to be effective. Our practice can testify how this has changed the lives of so many.

Question: Can’t I buy the HCG online and do it myself?

Answer: Yes, but this is not advised. There are a few reasons:

The HCG you are purchasing is likely not effective:

1) There are many websites that state they sell HCG, but this is considered illegal without a prescription. The FDA requires adequate monitoring while on the medication. A manufacturer can add a microscopic amount of HCG in a liquid and call it HCG drops. There is no concentration of HCG that is indicated and monitored by the manufacturer to assure its potency. There is no governing body overseeing homeopathic HCG.
2) The shelf life of HCG is typically 30 days. When we provide HCG for our patients it is made fresh and delivered cold to you. HCG bought online can sit in a warehouse for an infinite amount of time and the product may have already passed its date of use. It is often not delivered cold; as it should

Attempting this diet with physician supervision is not advised.

1) A low calorie diet such as this can potentially create electrolyte imbalances that can be dangerous. A simple blood test and necessary supplementation can correct this imbalance. This can only be check with a physician.
2) Vitamins such as B12 can be absorbed by injection. Vitamin B12 is known to give you an energy boost, often helpful in the diet, and can vitamins may also be deficient because of the dietary restrictions. It is best addressed by a physician

Question: What is unique about Ulthera?

Answer: Ultherapy is the only non-invasive treatment that can specifically target the deep foundation below the skin that is addressed in cosmetic surgery withoutcutting or disrupting the surface of the skin. It is also the only procedure to use ultrasound imaging, which allows us to actually see the layers of tissue we target during treatment and ensure the energy is deposited precisely to where it will be most effective.

Question: Can Ultherapy replace a facelift?

Answer: Ultherapy is an “uplift” not a “face lift.” While it is not a replacement for surgery, it is a viable option for those not ready for a face lift or those looking to prolong the effects of cosmetic surgery.

Question: Where can Venus Freeze be used?

Answer: Venus treatments are effective in circumference reduction, improving cellulite, skin tightening and reducing the appearance of wrinkles. Our Promise is to provide you with a safe, pleasant, pain-free experience in treatments for the body and face parts including arms, abdomen, thighs, buttocks, neck and face.

Question: What does JustMelt offer to treat facial signs of age?

Freund. Dr. Freund has gained wide respect as an authority, lecturer and certified professional trainer for Allergan, makers of Botox and Juvederm and Medicis, makers of Dysport, Restylane and Perlane.

Question: What are the benefits of Zerona?

Answer: You can lose 3.5 – 9.5 inches around your hips, waist, and thighs- without surgery, pain, dieting, and with zero downtime. Post- Zerona treatment just walking for 30 minutes a day and drinking 8 glasses of water is beneficial.

The Zerona treatment was proven in the FDA trial as a safe and effective way to lose inches.  Recently in the American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery, Zerona’s effect was also seen causing a reduction in triglyceride levels and ‘bad’ cholesterol, while improving hemoglobin A1c values (a measure of diabetes severity).

Although not FDA approved for cellulite, reports have noted improvements in cellulite as well.  This is not surprising, being that cellulite is a result of superficial fat deposits causing irregularities in the skin of women.
